My dog got put down today, aged 9 years and 9 months. It was heartbreaking. I'm headachey, occasionally nauseous, panicky, irritable... and so sad. She was the life of the house.

I'm sorry for your loss. Dogs truly are our best friends in the animal kingdom. She'll not forget you and you two will be reunited some day, over the rainbow bridge. As an owner of a 10-year old geriatric dog myself, I don't know what I'll do when his day comes. Just cherish the memories, and know time will heal all.

I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. Some people don't realise how much we love and care for our pets. Little can be said, but sending you hugs

My deepest sympathies...Dogs add so much to our lives...I've a 12 year old Westie and I don't know what I'd do without her...I came out to my wife on January 6th and Daisy has been one of my biggest comforts...My heart goes out to you.

I'm sooooo sorry!! My dog died October 27 last year. Had him for almost 11 years. I made a painting of him on the day he was out down, let's just say there was tear drops infused in the painting. Anyways, just remember the good memories you had. (*hug*)
