For what reasons do you use Siri?

like probably 1% telling her to text someone
like 99% messing with her

 

Sports score- Love to hear when my team "pounded," or "crushed" their opponents.

Setting a timer- I might be cooking and need a specific time and it's easier to just use Siri

Texting someone- This is especially true if I'm only have one hand available.

Quickly getting easy factoids without having to search them on the Internet.

 

I got very confused; I have a friend named Siri. :lol:

I don't have an iPhone, but I've used it on friends' only to check which accents it responds best to.

I know one girl who uses it for pretty much everything. Setting alarms, putting things on the calendar, calling people, searching the internet, trying to prove her point, as a calculator, boosting her self-esteem, having conversations.... I only use it for the entrainment value. Her favorite color is especially amusing

Oh and be carful if you're talking and siri picks it up to make sure she shuts off! I once had a text go out to half my contacts that said "is sexy", which was pretty embarrassing, I had to explain to my mom, grandmother and boss why they had gotten that first thing in the morning. Siri is also capable of interpreting jazz music to mean "call diane". It's a good feature, just be carful holding your phone to close to noise if you aren't paying attention (!)

 

I usually use it just because it's cool, not because I need it

 

I tried to make it find prostitutes and nuclear weapon plans on a friends phone...he wasn't impressed, but it didn't understand my voice anyway

 

sometimes I need to where to hide dead bodies...

 

I hate that little pompous twit. I can't even say text so and so without it repeating their name and then totally not record what I say.

Good riddance apple and as far as S Voice on my Samsung I don't even use that.

I just say weird things to her to annoy her if you just say something confusing enough that she can't find she gets angry it's so funny

 

I don't, unless I'm bored and wanna ask her stupid questions just to hear her reaction, haha.

I don't use Siri. It freaks me out.
