So wondering, who was your childhood hero? If you where like me and still look up to your childhood hero still post him/her. Mine is a guy named John Murdy. What he does is he designs the mazes for Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights. I love Halloween and I want his job. So he has bean my childhood hero. So who is your childhood hero?

Michael Grant. His books spread so many emotions throughout them. Love, happiness, sorrow, anger, fear. I hope to be a great author such as him.

Colin Mochrie and Jhonen Vasquez were both people that I always tried to emulate. I still try to emulate them, to an extent.

I want to say Raven Symone, but I don't think that I looked up to her per se. I'm pretty sure I just had a crush on her.

Michael Schumacher. The most successful racing driver of all time. Watching him win rave after race was my Sunday Afternoons as a child.

Ditto. I didn't and still don't look up to anyone.

As a kid? Jim Henson, Walt Disney, JK Rowling. I wanted to be like them and make something iconic and beloved, I dunno.

My grandma. She speaks her mind and doesn't really care what anyone thinks of her. She doesn't appear embarrassed or self-conscious. Also she is a great cook and likes to give food to people.

I don't know why, as she's pretty unimportant, but I really wanted to be like Flannery from Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald when I was younger, so I guess that counts, hehe.

I used to look up to Kain - from FFIV
I don't know why.. but I think it's because of his personal change during the game. like he had the strength and courage to strive to repent for his actions.

I've never had heroes. IMO, the concept is ridiculous.

I had two big ones myself.

    1. Link from the legend of Zelda. I always looked up to him as a masculine role model. I wanted to be a courageous hero too. I still pretend to be Link when I need courage.

    2. Westley from the Princess Bride... What can I say... True love doesn't happen often so you have to do everything in your power to protect it. His only weakness was his mortality.

My grandfather has always been someone I looked up and idolized. I've continued to look up to him, but as I have grown up its been nice to sometimes be able to teach him new things. I have added other inspiring and motivating people to my list of heroes as I have grown, but my grandfather has been my consistency.

I'm sure no one has heard of mine, but growing up I watched a lot of soap operas and my total idol was Kassie Depaiva, wonderful actress *and* beautiful country singer, I read every interview and she's a great mother...

Mine always has been and always will be Linda Nolan. She's an incredibly strong, brave lady who is a total sweetheart and has a heart of gold. Not to mention she is absolutely divine! [IMG]
