This is an episode of a TV Series called "30 days"

Click here to watch it online

It's quite long, yet very interesting and well done. It doesn't give much answers, but asks all the important questions.

(Psst becky, there is even a short scene with Pflag in it  )

I actually saw this episode a long time ago, which is weird, since I've never seen the show. Either that or I saw a little bit of it. But I'mma go watch it now and tell you how it goes.

I know Sam & Julia who appear in this as the PFLAG parents. Sam was our National PFLAG President a couple years ago.

    Okay. So I watched it.

I think it was pretty interesting. I liked that he kinda learned something. He didn't really turn out completely accepting, but he had the realization that he was judging something of which he had no previous perception.

It was a good show. His parents were interesting at the end - they were staring at the computer like they were at the zoo or something. It was... weird.

That was cool to watch. It made me want to move to San Fran, just so I could be around a gay population. Maybe I would find someone there to party with... (!)

We watched this at school in a Social Skills class. We had to stop on his last day since the bell rang but it was pretty interesting. Him and his family members were really unimformed about gays before he went but at least he got a better understanding of us at the end. The part that was ironic was when he felt like the odd-guy-out when he went out to dinner with his roommate and his friends and he was the only straight one there.

I liked it a lot. It was like the tables were turned on this guy. He was surrounded by gay people instead of the usual, other way around.

The ending was so sweet, and I don't know how his family will deal with his change of heart, or even how he will deal with his family's hardened heart.

P.S. Did I see BeckyG at the PFLAG meeting?

Indeed, Morgan Spurlock was the documentarian of "Super Size Me". This thread is referencing one episode of his FX documentary series "30 Days". I am a big fan Spurlock's works, even though he took some flack for the most recent "30 Days" episode that dealt with homosexuality, specifically gay adoption.
