What did you say when people tried to bully you in school? This girl who was a bit...orange today came up to me and said "yeah but...you're gay" so I said "And you look like a carrot. Now we know something about each other."
For something so harmless, I'd just have asked her what her point was. When people really start to get abusive, I insult back. The best insults are spontaneous, so I can't really post one.
I think your comeback was awesome. The best comebacks are definitely spontaneous, and you seem to be good at that! I was bullied in middle school and high school because people thought I was gay or bi (this was YEARS before I realized I wasn't straight...)--hang in there! You are you and there is NOTHING wrong with that, you are awesome! Kids are so rude these days.
Unfortunately, some might not even understand that much. :S If somebody tried telling me I'm gay as an insult, I would *pray* they're of the opposite sex. In that case I could say "We're lucky I am, saves me the trouble of using a more personal reason to turn you down."
This seems like an appropriate place to post this. My best friend is a lesbian but she's only out to a certain group of friends. Someone asked her on a social networking site "omg are you a lesbian????" Her response: "ask your sister. She'll know." I love her so much :roflmao:
I was walking around town with my girlfriend last summer. It being a warm night, I opted to wear my kilt. A group of three bimbos are walking towards my girlfriend, my best friend, and me, when one says in an incredibly stereotypical voice "Ugh, why is he wearing a skirt " to which I immediately fired back "because I look better in one than you do!"
^Well, prerequisite to wearing a kilt is a prohibitively high level of badassery, and it sounds like you've got that covered.
Another time was when this not-so-skinny kid was miles away from me and I was with two of my friends, one of them says "You love cock." So I said " I was born that way, what's your excuse for looking like an absoloute monster." He called us all tramps, so one of my friends said "Yeah says you with the fake IPhone."
One time this one girl said "oh u must wanna be a girl" and I said well I guess that would make 2 of us huh? Oh ya I know you point your finger at me. Ya and u know which one That's it lmao…
I don't really think it matters. Not understanding only increases the embarrassment. The point is rarely what is said, but the way in which you defend yourself. Sound confident or sarcastic or amused. Don't sound hurt or defensive.
