Am I the only one who thinks that Allies are just as much a part of our community as anyone else? I know they are not technically a "sexual minority," but they do support all of us, and they help a lot of people understand who they are. I am just curios on other people's thoughts.
Totally. Because isn't the plan to just be accepted like straight people? For no one to care who we love? So anyone who shares that belief belongs in my opinion
I think so. I was an ally long before I became a part of the GSM community. It is not just straight cis people who are allies. Cis people of all sexual orientations can be allies to the trans community. In addition, anyone can be an ally to anyone. Also, being an ally is not always the safest thing. Allies have been attacked and killed, not as much as GSM individuals but it has happened, and it is something that people need to be made aware of.
Absolutely...so long as they are genuine about it then they are just as much a part of the community as we are
