At what age did you figure out your sexual orientation?

I liked boys for a lomg time, probably since about 12 but i only figured it out about october last year ^.^

 

Can't say there was a definite moment, but I knew early on that I was different and didn't like girls.

 

I literally figured it out 3 days ago. I had always had a feeling, but I came to a definite "yes" on Thursday.

 

First sign were at 12. At this point I forced myself to like boys and taught myself I don't like girls 'till I was 15 or something like that. For I think 2 years now I've accepted my sexuality but it took me some time.

 

20, accepted it...15 noticed it. It took loads of time and denied it loads.

 

Age 23 and I'm still not sure ;D

 

I only admitted it to myself at in this last year, but I think I known from way back when I was a teenager. Especially when I look back in retrospect, its pretty clear the signs were there. I think it was only recently when I came out of a very long term relationship, that I had to deal with and accept it. Up until that point it had never been an issue and so could be safely ignored.

I feel better for admitting it to myself though....

Never had any big crushes, but when teenage years started, 12-13 I guess, gradually I realised that I was noticing boys more, at around 15 I thought about it for the first time as an actual posibility.

 

Looking back,I probably already knew in elementary school,when I had the vague feeling that I'm different and always felt like I might rather be a boy. As I was about ten I started questioning my perception of self and about one year later,when I was eleven, I finally figured out that I do have the right body, but can love girls nevertheless. It still took me a few years to accept that I don't like boys as much and am indeed lesbian, though.

 

I always remember when i knew i was gay. I did question as to why i liked boys but i was only 9 and accepted it.

 

Knew I didn't feel like my friends did about girls at 11. Figured it out when I was 12.

 

I admitted it at around 15. Before then there were so many obvious hints, but I was in my own little world I guess

I've said I was bi on this forum, but I believe pan is def. more accurate. However, I know I'm going to have to explain things to family soon, so I've been "practicing" with the bi label since it likely has a much greater chance of being understood.

 

This, exactly this. I started questioning at 15, knew for sure (and accepted) at 20.

 

I knew I was attracted to guys since late middle school, but I didn't admit that I was gay until I was like 20. I had tried hard to convince myself that I was bisexual so that I would at least have the option to end up with a girl and not upset my family, but eventually I just had to stop lying to myself.

 

When I was 10, 11 when I started noticing it, 16 when I finally accepted it.
