She is concerned that l don't have a boyfriend, the she tells act more confident , the gives advice on how to get men and what type of men to pick. Every time it's always like this she even said it's bs that l'm using studying as can excuse that l don't have a boyfriend and I should be trying. It's always like poor you , don't even have a boyfriend. It's annoying always asking if I have one too

Get a new hairdresser. No ones forcing you to get your hair cut by someone you don't like, unless you're a minor and your parents for some reason force you lol xD

  6. I can understand what that's like, I live in a small town and the best hair dresser in town is like that too lol Next time just tell her that it's not really something you feel comfortable talking about and change the subject. Hopefully she'll be respectful enough to follow suit. If she doesn't respect you enough to make you feel comfortable (which is her job), take your money elsewhere- no matter how good she is, there will be someone better that will make you feel comfortable too.

Next time when she asks "What kind of cut are we doing today?" tell her "Hopefully a silent one"... or as others suggested fire her annoying judgmental nosy ass off and get a new stylist.

Just smile, nod, and ignore. It's just a hairdresser. I barely talk to mine.

Aren't half of hairdressers gay men. It seems strange that a hairdresser would be homophobic.

I know how you feel, as soon as I turned 18 I changed mine, he would always talk to me about football and women and ask stuff (average straight-guy topics I know but I was never interested in either), he was arrogant and indiscreet, and coming out was not an option since he hangs out a lot with my brother.

    Maybe it's just conversation?

She might not mean any harm and genuinely wants to see you get a boyfriend because she doesn't know your sexuality?

In which case that's due to her own ignorance.
If she doesn't like someone because of their sexuality then that says more about her own insecurity.

Working that one out will keep her silent for months.
