When do you think people are able to be certain of their sexuality? I mean, mostly at the age of about 14 or just a little bit more, some want to test their sexuality. Some turn to being straight and some don't. So, when do you think it's time to be certain of one's sexuality? I like to think I'm bi, but some of my friends say I'm just trying it out(I'm 14).
I think everyone comes to grip with their sexuality at their own pace. I'm 20 and am just figuring it out now. But with that said you can totally know your sexually orientation at your age.
I think it is possible to know as a teenager. When I look back, all of the signs were there for me at 14, but I carried on denying for another 7-8 years.
Either before puberty or after During puberty your hormones are going crazy so its hard to make a valid decision
I figured out that if looking at girls is boring and a hot guy makes me pay attention closely then I am gay and I am 13.
I knew at 14, and I NEVER did anything with either sex. No dating, no sexual acts, no kissing, nothing. I don't like the "test" thing. to each their own if they want to experiment, but even if you do it says nothing. Gay people can and do enjoy sex with the opposite sex, and vice versa. Trying anything doesn't prove your sexuality, the only thing that proves it is what you feel in your heart and mind.
I've known since I was about 11... it didn't take too long for me to realize I was absolutely and irrevocably gay when I became sexually capable...
I think kids as early as their pre-teens will likely have a good indication, if their are brought up in an environment (parents, religion, school, media, etc...) where it's not judged, where what it is is properly explained (dispel the usual stereotypes), where there's no expectation of being str8, where it's not illegal/evil/sin/other negative connotations.
I'm certein of it and I haven't even kissed a girl. The thing is that when i think of kissing or holding hands with a boy i just dont like the feeling, but i do if i think of a girl. I also think girls are much prettier and i get turned on by girl. For me its just as simple as that but i guess it depends on the person.
I was about 8 when I was able to vocalize that I liked both sexes but even before that I showed interest in women and men, but people thought I'd be a lesbian.
When I was 13-14 I had other serious problems and I didn't stop to think about that, but looking back signs were there and quite obvious ones.. I guess in this society you don't even seriously consider that unless there's something there...
a few times I questioned I might be bisexual when I was 13 I deferentially liked boys-men but I felt nothing for girls nothing was happening down below even had a girlfriend for a whole two weeks I felt absolutely nothing at all .
As soon as a straight person starts realizing they have an interest in the opposite sex, so fourteen is totally old enough. Looking back at 14 I had a girl crush, I'm only just now figuring it out though
