I started an account on dating site and someone on there who lives in my area contacted me. This is great because I live in a small area so I we started chatting and it turns out this guy knows my brother and his wife pretty well (it's a small town area... Everyone knows everyone). The conversation pretty much went... Me: So, do you know >insert my sister in law's name here< Him: Yah, she's one of my closest friends. Me: Well she's my sister-in-law. Him: 0_0 Me: What? Him: So that would make you >insert my brother's name here<'s brother? Me: Ummmm... Yaaaaah... Him: So that would me you pastor >insert my father's name here<'s son? Me: Obviously. Him: I have know idea what to think about that... It isn't someone who knows my dad very well and the only time we could have possibly met was at my brother's wedding (he also know my best friend pretty well and a few people I work with) but he was pretty shocked to find out who I was. Small town... So everyone knows everyone. I find this all very amusing.
You're hot. Oh and about this thread. That's a funny coincidence. Maybe he did your dad or something.
yeah, it's like that in Harrisburg (where I used to live) with only 4 schools (2 elementaries, until recently and one turned into a church) everyone knows everyone, especially when the kids from both elementaries have to go to the same MS and HS And then the private school kids joined in for MS and HS too I knew everyone basically Oregon has way too many small towns
thats actually pretty cool. i kinda wish i lived in a town like that but oh well. just stay careful though.
So what hapened then? Did he feel weird cuz he knew your family? People in small towns don't just know each other--they know each other's business too. Any fall-out from chatting with him?
