so I don't know if it's me or not, but here it goes.
I met this nice older guy who was into me and i guess the feeling was mutual. we exchanged numbers and decided to talk to each other for quite a while. so we come to agree that we should go on a date. so here comes date day and i'm all ready up. i asked where we're going to meet and we both planned the day ahead to make sure we both don't have anything to do.
so the time comes around and i told the guy i was going to be a bit late and i will get to our meeting spot in no more then 2-3 minutes? so, i get there and he texts me to say " sorry man i won't wait any longer maybe another time." and on top of that he says " i'm going to the gym. sorry i got things to do." so i got pretty irritated and told him where to stick it. i don't know if it was me or what i did wrong. i was only 5 minutes late from the date time.

Wow, what an asshole. He might have been nervous and just used your slight lateness as an excuse to cancel.

yea, i mean i did let him know i was going to be a bit late
i was thinking that at first , but he kept pushing it like he had other things to do that were more important, which didn't really make sense. why bother planning a date if you're not going to "have time"

Think of it this way, you didn't even have to meet the **** to find out what he was really like.
