So who here draws? Like monga or comics. Stuff like that. I do. I am getting very good at it so far.

But there are things I don't really know how to draw like
    Fire
    Shaded guy abs
    skulls
    forest horizon

Post your drawing struggles in green. Lets help each other figure this stuff out.(!)

Wow Nessa, your dragon is awesome! Shame the rock behind it's head looks like a pee pee though. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I used to draw all the time, but now I've kind of fallen out of it because I don't have enough time. :< But I have uploaded a few things to an album on my profile if you want to check it out.

Forgot to add drawing struggles, they'd be:
People that I'm not used to drawing, such as my friends OCs couldn't do it.
    Also realisim
    abstract
    some animals especially furry animals

    ...
    Damn it.

Although I will never look at it the same way again, thank you for the compliment. Luckily, I made it for my dad, so I don't have to see it all the time

I have a thing against drawing real people though. I never do that. When I use reference pictures, the proportions are off, but I still know how to make it work. If I drew real people, I'd want to kill myself.

I don't always get a chance to draw due to workng all the time. But when i do it's usually comic style stuff.

    hands
feet (i have trouble with like stuff like shoes too)
Environments/backgrounds (trees, buildings, uughh, it's like they hate me:tears:slight_smile:

well i was trying to write it in green.

I draw all the time! I have some drawings on my profile if you want to take a look
That dragon is amazing, Nessa! I've always thought dragons are awesome, but I've never really managed to draw them myself...

    Anyway, my biggest struggles are

    boys/men
hands and feet (don't we all struggle with those)
    coming up with creative poses
    animals
    and backgrounds

Oh man I love to draw.

    My issues are
Back drops and other inanimate objects
    consistency
also cartoons are hard for some reason

Are you kidding me? Your stuff is amazing! I love watercolours. I wish I could do that, but I have no idea how.

Thank you so much! Like with everything else, it's all about practice  Personally I prefer watercolour pencils, because they're a bit more predictable than regular watercolours. In my drawing/painting of Daenerys I first drew her with a waterproof pen. Then coloured her using watercolour pencils, and when I was done I used a brush and water to blend the colours.

I definitely need a water proof pen. And miskit. ugh. Money issues though, man.
I love paints, but sometimes they dry way too fast for me =/ I do need better pencils though. The ones I have are super cheap.

I've actually never heard of miskit before, so I googled it. And now I need it too. Great, more things for me to spend money on, haha.

On a different note, I hope you don't mind that I sent you a friend request. You just seem like such a lovely person!

Sadly no, but I did copy that one it's in my journal now. I just don't know if it looks the same thing but others would say it's really good so yeah maybe near to perfection. Here's the link Look Me in the Eye by Timerze on deviantART it's up for you to judge.
