I am bored of hearing theories about how same sex marriage will destroy the world.it sound so stupid! I have heard tha gay marriage will lead to polygamy, make more people gay and cause naturall disasters like earthquakes floods and tornados.im so much sisapointed of humans! We live in 2014 and we have already prove what cause this events.and what about countries who had legalise gay marriage long time ago? There is no earthquakes floods tornados and there is no polygamy! Whats your opinion about it? I personally find it really stupid!:bang:

Personally I find it HILARIOUS to know that some people believe in a god who is pissed at the sin of the gays and decides to punish the straights instead.

"Dudes I am SO pissed at you right now, I'm going to smite those guys to teach you a lesson"

"You means those guys over there, the ones holding the sign saying how much they hate us? The guys who through a rock at me and threatened to beat me up?"

"Yeah, those guys. I'll smite them and that'll show you!"

"Sure thing god, you go right on ahead..."

God sent Jesus to the earth to forgive us of our individual sins. There isn't anything biblical about what thoes people are saying. The end will come, tribulations will happen regardless. The world isn't going to end as a result of homosexuality. It's just going to end

If people are going to be religious they should at least know what their taking about

This made me laugh out loud – it's sad but also quite funny that some people actually believe this.

If I ever meet someone who thinks like this I will laugh at them right in their ignorant faces.

    Also, what Holly said.

Well, there IS a guy who makes the earth move for me, but I don't know that anyone else is directly affected by it!

The only stuff that makes me laugh more than this is the notion that gay marriage will somehow destroy the institution of marriage as a whole. Seriously, if high-profile celebrities in serial and overlapping relationships haven't completely killed off marriage, I don't see how a couple men or women who genuinely love each other can do much to destroy it.

We had natural disasters before gay marriage.

Same sex couples have been and will always be part of society. Granting them equal rights to everyone else will not lead to any disasters and only a complete moron would think otherwise.

Anyone who claims otherwise needs to either prove it or shut the hell up.

    Happy days

In the UK we have a very right wing political party called UKIP (much like the US Republican Party). Following the equal marriage debate one of their elected representatives came out with a load of crap about flooding being due to parliamentary approval for the change in the law. It led to an amusing spoof Twitter account @UkipWeather being created.

Worries me that we vote idiots like this into public office.

Straight people do a great job ruining marriage on their own , they don't want us to marry out of fear we will do a better job than them and put them to shame

Reminds me of the jelly donut scene from Full Metal Jacket, their God is clearly Gunnery Sergeant Hartman.

Oh no; the Republicans have some redeeming qualities (Lincoln et al), UKIP have no redeeming qualities therefore they're the Tea Party.

I take it as a complement. I mean, hey, we have the power to destroy the world. That puts us on a level with global warming, asteroids, black holes, nuclear weapons, nasty viruses etc. We're pretty awesome.

When I first read this, I skimmed it, and thought it said tribbles, those fuzzy things that multiplied real fast on Star Trek.

Now that would be a crazy way for the world to end! A cute one, though, on the fuzzy side.

But I don't really see the world ending any time soon, and not due to any religious reasons. I mean, eventually, the sun will go ka-boom, but aside from that, I'm not too worried. More so about global warming, atomic war and such, in the meantime.

I am blessed to be surrounded by supportive teammates at work. This is actually a running joke around my clinic. Whenever something terrible happens they joke that someone must have pissed me off......cause it's always the gays fault!
