I think I've realized why it's more acceptable for straight girls to experiment

I would agree with this.

 

Oh yes , a straight girl can sleep with as many women as she wants and still be considered straight,but if a straight guy sleeps or experiment once he's deemed gay or bi but most of the time they will use the word gay . Now on to lesbians if a lesbian sleeps with a guy even once or a few times before she comes out she's viewed as bisexual ,even if she experiment or curious about sex with men people slap the bi label on her or call her a traitor plus she gets flack from the lesbian community and some time s the straight community as well. As a lesbian other lesbians even monitor how you have sex too

 

This is the main reason why "experimental straight girls" piss me off for the most part. I would have nothing against experimentation if it was equal for everyone, but as of right now It's just used to oppress and marginalize the lesbian community in favor for heterosexuals. Now being curious about being with women is one thing (and fine) for me, but it irritates me how most people use these societal norms to "do it because they can without people questioning them" or "to attract men". Thus raising the discrimination (and even rape culture) to the lesbian community ten fold.

It is also doing a big disservice to guys. It's bad enough that bisexuals have enough on their plate in general about not being real but, to many, (I'm going off how it appears women are more free to experiment with less of an eyebat) bisexuality does not exist when it comes to guys; one instance of pursuit and you've crossed the fence for good(similar to the mindset that all it takes is for a penis experiment to convert a lesbian).

As pointed out (kind of) above, a straight guy questioning can just have one experiment with a guy...it doesn't matter matter the outcome of how he feels, he's automatically gay according to the world. I even know enough people personally who believe this flat out bs. All it takes is for one thing to be out about a guy experimenting with another guy and he's just flat out gay in their book, end of story. This is why so many guys are too freaked to even simply note that another looks nice.

I'm not devaluing the hurt it causes women/girls btw, more so pointing out another part to the story.

As a whole, this kind of thing just adds to the myth that bi women = straight and bi men = gay.

When I use to think I was bi I told this guy and then he said something about When you get a husband what do you plan on doing and I told him what makes you so sure I'm gonna get a husband ?
I also visit a forum that has mostly straight people on it there are a few lesbians but they keep it hush hush there are also gay guys and bi guys there but the post anonymously as well . So one day I asked a question if straight men experimented with other men and enjoyed it , most of the straight men got mad at me and out right attracted me like your question is stupid why would you ask a dumb question , straight men don't experiment and if they do their gay another guy said it does happen but most of those men are gay or bi and cannot be straight . Or I love the fancy answer it's a low percentage of men that experiment but it's like 2% and most of them are bi or gay . Our sexuality is fixed and we are either gay or straight and those men who experimented and are straight are lying . So then a straight woman ask a question and states she is bi curious or just thinking about experimenting with another women them most of the men the same ones that answered my question it's normal for women to feel that way and most women are indeed bisexual but no the men aren't they never will be because their straight!!! . Now on my question 3 straight guys had said they had experimented with men and enjoyed it they all posted anonymously one said he did a 3 way with his girlfriend and enjoyed that taboo of the sex he was having with the other guy , the other guy said he enjoyed receiving oral from another guy and another stated that he did anal sex on another guy the other straight men who were saying men's can either be straight or gay bashed the others guys called them gay or said they might be bi when one guy said I only did it one time they said your gay end of story . I was shocked . Another guy I admired him even though I didn't agree with him accused the other guys of covering up and that men can be bi curious just as much as women . it was just attack attack all day . One women said she only came to this question because she was curious about the answers and said she thinks men are hiding this big scream that they are bi curious
too . I mean I've even been told by men on that site that lesbians are a bisexual and lie about it because they don't want to upset their clan .
I've even saw a site where straight guys were asking or looking for gay men to experiment with , so what does that say

Which is also a reason why straight girls experimenting is generally more acceptable. Because guys love seeing girls make out but they don't like it as much when the girls are actually lesbians because then they can't get 'a piece of that' :/

 

Argh I relate to this so much.. I think it ridiculous how SOME men think that if lesbians try penis they'll never go back.. That would never work on me. I am not turned on by guys.. Sure a few of them out there are gentlemen but the ones I come across in my daily life shock me. They think they are king or something it's childish. And I don't like being checked out by guys either.. I'm like a straight guy in a female body.. I am definitely 100% a girl I just think I see what straight men see in women and absolutely cannot see what straight women see in men. And I don't mind calling a guy goodlooking.. Only if I respect who he is. If he is an asshole I will be repulsed by him. My cousins are great guys and very goodlooking.. My brothers are too. I'm lucky to have the pleasure of being related to them.

I remember some comment on youtube that was attacking a lesbian and basically saying she wasn't actually gay because she called some guy "handsome."
Apparently, appreciating good looks and giving compliments automatically means that you're sexually attracted to that person. Y'know, even though straight girls compliment each other all the time and no one calls them out on it and says they're not straight.

Those kind of girls are pathetic. I didn't click the link but i've seen it before. How can they live with themselves? They don't even realise that they are giving true lesbians a bad name.. especially fem ones like me. Like lesbian porn wasn't bad enough already.

 

It's because of sexism and homophobia. A woman sleeping with a woman is perceived as more masculine, and she is thus elevating herself in societies eyes, albeit in a way society doesn't deem acceptable. And a man on the other hand is seen as feminizing himself, thus giving up his male privelage. People have a stronger reaction against that. It's because of this that a woman can say things to her girl friends like "You're looking fine", but If a man said something like that to another man, it would be taken as an insult.

 

the funny thing about that show is when a guy called the barsexuals easy and sluts they got upset at him but then told the lesbian woman that it was her fault for choosing to be a lesbian on why she got hit on by guys

I don't think women sleeping with women is perceived as more masculine, It's just an inferior thing in general. Most straight people who have oral and manual sex think they are "Pure virgins" so they apply that to lesbians and say "they can't have sex" or "what they do really means nothing so it won't change them as badly as a gay man will be changed for taking a dick".

Penetrative sex in general is seen as a bigger deal and a more dirty or staining thing. Even straight women who have penetrative sex are bashed as "gross" "non-virginal', "slut", and all that, so it would make sense why a gay bottom would be branded the same way since regular women already suffer discrimination for "bottoming".
