Grooming???

I epilate (an epilator looks like an electric razor but instead plucks hair out like a tweezer..many ppl don't know what it is) of like every bit of hair on my body with an epilator.(excluding my privates..I shave that cuz I imagine it would be very painful to epilate) I used to wax it hurts less but that got REALLY expensive. I've never shaved bc stubble is like no. I think in general society does compel, but for me I would do it anyways bc seeing any body hair on myself grosses me out

 

As a guy I shaved a goatee because I liked it and that was it. Never shaved anything else.

Now I shave everything everywhere all the time. Not because of societal pressure, I just like being soft of smooth! :3

 

I do shave my privates and under my arms to eliminate odor. It's the hair that gives off the foul smell. And I shave my chest because I think it looks better and cleaner.

 

Both guys and girls :

Shaving = Hygiene

Shaving = Fine


Not shaving = Less hygiene

Not shaving = NOT fine (at least in my opinion)

 

Facial hair goes, and everything below the bely button.

 

I have a body trimmer for my chest legs somewhere else round the back down below I keep trimmed also under my arms trimmed .

 

In general, I don't find hair disgusting or unhygienic, I like all levels of hairiness of my own body, and I go through phases of hairiness and un-hairiness. Usually I'll shave only my underarms, but I have went a month or two without doing it. When I have a boyfriend/girlfriend, I shave my privates, not always though. My leg hair is very smooth and I like it, so I shave it very rarely, for a change.
If my partner finds something particularly ugly, also, I shave. I don't consider it a major compromise in any way.
There is only one exception in my whole attitude about hair: Facial hair.
I can't stand those little hairs on the upper lip, even though I'm sure that I'm the only one who notices them. So, when I notice, I kill them.
And I'd never pluck my eyebrows. I like them big. :eusa_naug

 

Trim, yes. Shave, no.. except beard most days (although I have stubble today). I grew a moustache for Movember a couple of years ago and it drove me berserk. That was a really long month!

 

I trim my beard, shave my chest, trim below the belt (sometimes shave. it just depends on what I'm feeling.)

 

Yeah, I shave everything. I don't think women should feel pressured to not have pubic hair--I think the media and stuff is cruel about all that--but personally I don't like body hair. I shave my upper lip and my arms with an electric razor with necessary, and I shave my underarms and legs too obviously.

 

I don't mind hair and I don't shave everywhere - some places obviously. If my man wanted me to, I would.

 

I shave everywhere because it's comfortable for me, but I don't mind if other people have body hair.

not my top lip I don't really get hair there but If I see one hair I get it waxed

 

I used to shave my legs but not for a while. I would love to have the conference to shave all over.

I don't shave my beard so I can imitate the Masters in martial arts movies. *mouth continues to move like all great, poorly dubbed MA movies*

 

I trim my beard to keep a permanent 5o'clock shadow (as best as I can with my age and genetics :lol. I don't shave any part of my body. Some things may be trimmed down there, but mostly, I let the body be in it's natural state.

I don't think there are any issues, socially speaking, because men are hairier and it's a product of testosterone. I would never shave my somewhat hairy chest and stomach; I like chest hair. If a guy wants me to be smooth all over, I don't think I could accommodate that request :lol:.

 

As a guy, I tried shaving and trimming things.
I think in the end I settled for trimming leg hair and pubic hair.

As a girl, I shave just about everything. Wouldn't mind trying an epilator though.
