I realized that sometimes I dress to flash even for staying at home and I don't have any home clothes . I'm wondering if it's a good idea to just buy outfits to wear around the house and have some for going out . Are yoga pants and maybe a cute hoodie and Tee ok to wear around the house when you just wanna stay home ?
What are other good ideas for home clothes .

I just wear tank tops and shorts around the house. Whenever I complain about being cold my mom always tells me it's cause I'm "half naked" and to "put on some damn pants." :roflmao: Anything comfy works

That's usually the same thing I wear for "home clothes." I've never felt comfortable wearing pants in the house, so I always wear some type of shorts and a cheap white Tshirt.

Or one could just be stark naked. I bet if one answered the door naked and it was conservative religious missionary he or she would leave fast.

I think it makes a lot of sense having clothes for home wear. Partly because of comfort. Also it saves wear and tear on clothes that need to look good.

I generally just wear sweat suits.

As soon as I get home, out come the pyjamas. It's all I wear when I'm in. When you are home, away from the world, you should be comfy.

    Happy days

I find wearing something comfortable to be very soothing, and helps me think. Sweats or yoga pants are great, and anything really soft like a warm cocoon of happiness gets me through the day!

When you're at home anything goes! Something comfy is usually the best option, so yeah yoga pants and a hoodie would be good.

It's nice to dress up, but after going to work all week and running around its great to just be able to wear comfy clothes. Usually for home clothes I'll wear sweatpants and a regular t shirt. In the summer I wear some type of stretchy shorts and a cute tank top.

I know what you mean lol when I was growing up we had home clothes, mostly old worn out clothes that I slit the sleeves and slit the neck deep to wear (warm climate) and shorts
but we also had 'Home Clothes' for when people visited you at home, my mom was quite particular about presenting oneself and had a silk kimono she wore when people visited at home, very old world of her. I still do that now, I have a track pants and t-shirt I won't necessarily wear out of the house but indoors when people come. So yeah buy some tracks and tops for that, if u want to and care about it but remember to remove the tags :icon_wink

I like looking passable, even just for myself. Usually I wear a pair of jeans and a T-shirt or a sweater. There are some days when I'll just wear pyjamas throughout the day, but they're usually when I'm sick or have heaps of housework to do.

^ I'm the same. If I don't shower or dress in ugly clothes I feel gross all day. :frowning2: Wish I could wear home clothes though! : 3
