    Since there's a thread for singers, I wanted to make a thread for those of us who aren't as vocally gifted :grin: If you can play an instrument, record yourself playing it! I can play guitar, bass and ukulele, but guitar is my main instrument so I decided to record myself playing that :slight_smile:

    I am most proficient at flute (been playing since 2000), but I can also play oboe decently. I'm a beginner on piano.

    I'm a little rusty, but here's the Celtic jig "Banish Fortune" with a few errors.

    This made me play the piano... but then I remembered I hadn't played in months and have since lost all skills- I'll stick to flute and Fruity Loops Studio XD Really good job by everyone though :astonished:

    I play EVERYTHING!!! Not really, but I do play clarinet, ukulele, acoustic and electric guitar, piano, cajon (super butchy wooden box that you sit on and hit)

    Oh woah, lots of you guys are really talented...!
    I quit at grade 5 classical guitar and grade 6 piano. Don't have any recordings, unfortunately.
    Also, not to brag, but I can play the triangle. *grins*

    I've played a bunch of different instruments before, but I think I feel most comfortable playing the piano (or keyboards, generally). So, here's a short clip. Far from flawless, but what the hell.

    Very nice! I love Spanish classical guitar.

    Thanks for the compliment. The time is 6/8 as you mentioned; though, since it's quite fast, it almost sounds like 4/4 with sextuplets.

    I liked your music, especially since I've become a little more experienced listening to jazz after going to some concerts. I was lucky to hear Branford Marsalis and his band last spring.

    I've played piano for 10, 11 years and I'm guessing I'm alright at it. I used to play the trumpet as well, but I dropped that because I wasn't too good at that. And I"d record piano, but my mic is terrible and you wouldn't be able to hear it well.

    I've been playing piano for 11 years, guitar for 6 years, and I played trumpet briefly in high school (I'd like to take it up again). If I ever (a) get a keyboard or (b) find the courage to upload a clip of me playing guitar I will. :slight_smile:

    I play harmonica, melodica, and learning trumpet. I'll try and upload something, but it's hard when you live in an apartment building and usually I come super late at night...haha.
