What type of manga do you read? Which is your favourite? Which do you detest? My favourite ones are historical, drama and mistery. Better if they're all in the same story. :eusa_whis I read shounen and sometimes yaoi manga (about the last one with some historical stuff, otherwise I don't read it) but I don't go crazy of these genres. :eusa_thin And I don't like romance and I detest shoujo. :eusa_snoo What about you? :icon_cool
At the moment I'm mainly reading Naruto, Bleach and Claymore because I've been following the stories for several years; Naruto and Bleach since 2006 I think, Claymore at least since 2009... Waiting for the current arc in One Piece to end so I can read it all at once and maybe understand what the fuck is going on
Aside from Negima Magister Magi and Rosario Vampire I don't read manga although I watch a lot of anime.
I love the works of Watase Yuu (Fushigi You, Ayashi no Ceres etc), Katsuhiro Otomo (Akira, Domu etc), Kenichi Sonoda (GSC, CGE etc), Ken Akamatsu (Love Hina, Negima etc) and more. So many excellent titles out there, although I was/am disappointed Dark Horse never finished it's run of Cannon God Exaxxion. Traitors!
Ive been meaning to ask this. I just recently started watching anime. I mean JUST recently. I've only watched Attack On Titan, and haven't read any manga yet. Can someone recommend a good few for beginner into the genre? (They'll need to have an english version since I know nothing about japanese)
I read good manga! Oh, and Bleach. Jokes aside, I love Fullmetal Alchemist and Attack on Titan. They're my favourites, but there are tons of good ones out there. What you'll enjoy is simply down to preference.
I love Negima. Right now, I'm reading Wandering Son. In general, I suppose I read mostly shounen or shounen ai.
My favorite genres are seinen, josei, and shojo. I read all genres though. My favorite mangas are Trinity Blood, Honey and Clover, Clannad, Chobits, Oyasumi Punpun, and Ouran High School Host Club.
I've only read Mahou Sensei Negima. I absolutely LOVED it Oh, and I read the first chapter of the corpse party manga. ....The anime and games were better :/
Crunchyroll has a lot of good subbed anime. I would say that Hunter X Hunter is good for its cool fight scenes, danganronpa is good for the kind of horror element that you also find in attack on titan. Sword Art Online had a decent plot but a good romance story at the core. Hope you like all these Also, I find that the English dub is often extremely bad and cheesy, it sounds a lot better when hearing japanese and reading subtitles.
