I think harmonica is the most annoying musical instrument. It's literally painful to listen to.

No music instruments are annoying ... Love them all,all got their own timbre . You just gotta listen to them in the right music and you will probably enjoy it.

Bagpipes drone on and on. They can be beautiful if someone knows how to play them well. Otherwise...:***:

A harmonica can actually bring a song together. If done tastefully, it's really nice. I suppose it depends how it's being played.

One instrument I find annoying is the accordion, especially in Norteno Mexican music. Even with my Hispanic roots, I cringe every time I hear it.

Harmonicas sound good. Agree with the bagpipe comments.

I love to death both the harmonica and bagpipes. People who dislike them have probably not heard very good music done on them.

But something I think everyone can agree on is... the kazoo, which can only dubiously be called an instrument.

But the accordion is put to masterful use in Zydeco, Klezmer, Polka, folk music...it's so versatile...

This one...I actually like all the other instruments mentioned in the thread so far :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

If you have any doubts about the kazoo's viability, look no further than the Grateful Dead's "Alligator"

Try the contrabass sarrusophone - an instrument that never got much popularity and it's easy to hear why, though when he gets to the double-reed mouthpiece around 1:45 I could find myself making use of the interesting dying-computer noise that ensues. Everything before that is farts:

You know, I really can't think of a instrument that I find annoying. Hmm. Trumpet, maybe?

I agree with the Noterño music. My ears bleed every time. But Accordians can sound amazing
