    Do you really care how people perceive you and what their opinion of you is? I don't mean so much when you need them too, like if your trying to get you a job, but more I mean in everyday life.

    I really try hard not to, and for the most part I don't but there is always that niggling in my head that gets bothered if someone thinks badly of me.

    How about you?

    I care what my friends think about me!
    About strangers less so but still.
    And people I don't like I really don't care what they think :grin:

    Yes and everyone else does unless they're mentally disabled or something. The people who claim that they don't care seem to care more than the average person.

    Well with some people things like that dont affect them like normal people I doubt it makes them mentally disabled as well..

    Sometimes I care but usually I'm just indignant that someone would feel like they had the right to comment on me. I care in the sense that looking clean and well presented will get me further than not.

    Oh how I wish I didn't care, i really don't want to, I just can't help it. Because I know we are all very visual creatures I know everyone makes judgments, I just wish I could not think about what people think of me.

    I stopped caring about what people thought of me at some point in Year 8. It still hurts when my Parents say some things about me though.

    I do, sometimes. I was bullied as a kid so I have a hard time with being judge by others. I always stand up for myself though.
