They are soooo much better than blow-driers, but seem to be less and less common. :/

Not really, plus hand-dryers are more environment friendly than paper towels

I read dryers spread more germs, so, I womder, do we sacrifice human health or trees?

I only miss paper towels when the dryers are crap.

You know, the ones that blow about as hard as I can and are just barely warm.

    Happy days

It seems like the two aren't that much different, when taking into account other factors: snopes.com: Hand Dryers Spread Disease

That's true some of those e-dryers are really bad...
I do like the fact its more enviroment-friendly, but tbh I would prefer to avoid getting to those places in the first place, and when i do, I hope there is a way to open the door from the inside without touching the handle, or i'll prepare a tissue in my pocket ... lol

Depends on how good the drier is.

    I HATE these!!!

My hands always touch the sides & there's always a layer of dirt at the bottom from liquid off everyones hand collecting down there. I think these are gross & unhygienic lol.

I prefer the other blow dry ones (not the old driers but the ones with the same power that have a round hold at the end)

I, for one, look with no askance upon a bathroom blowjob.

    Bathroom blowjob, pfft.

I'm mad impatient, not gonna stand around and wait for a dryer to take its sweet fat time. Funny enough, I've got a friend who rails against hand dryers- drives him nuts.

I like the towels that rotate in a machine andcan be cleaned and reused. But I think the environmental aspect of blow-dryers vastly outweighs their inconvenience.

What I do find irritating, though, is how inaccurate sensors on modern automatic taps/faucets, and blow-dryers, are. I think a far better solution would be to have a pedal-like switch. You step on it and water flows for 15 seconds or whatever. I mean, the pedal is already implemented in bins, why not use them to lift the toilet seat, flush the toilet and open the doors in public toilets... And you wouldn't have to dirty your hands!

Some driers take ages, it feels like. I'd rather use paper towels since they're faster.

Also, I'm a total germaphobe when it comes to public bathrooms, so to me, I don't understand what the point is in having automatic flushing toilets, automatic soap dispensers, automatic sinks, automatic driers... and then a door handle that you have to touch with no paper towels?!? Gross. That's what drives me crazy about driers and no paper towels.

I just use my back to push open the door. Unless it opens inwards then I usually suck it up and touch the door.

    *high five* x 10000

This has been my biggest problem with toilets in FOREVER

    Door handles.

I usually put my hand in my sleeve & then open it to avoid touch it with my hand...or use my elbow (took years of training LOL). The doors should be pushable period. obviously automatic ones aren't practical :frowning2:

The force of the blowing makes my hands touch the side & then I'm afraid they'll drop all the way to the bottom and touch the dirt.

lol I have Hygiene OCD :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: (I also use alcohol handgel far too many times a day)
