It's a question about getting high school credit through summer school. Is it possible? Just wondering (for a sibling)

My high school allowed students take summer classes for credit, either to make up lost ones or if they wanted to graduate early / take a reduced class load in a later semester.

Although I imagine it might vary depending on the school district.

It is possible, it depends on your school really. I took health class and government class over the summer when I was in high school. It gave me time to do more exciting classes.
