What is the most important thing in your life?

Besides my immediate family of course, it's my work. I love my job and I get a great sense of accomplishment out of it.

Now if only I had a boyfriend - then that would probably change!

It's kind of sad, but it's probably my own self improvement. Not necessarily selfish, as that also entails being kinder to people and doing more good for the world. But my biggest focus is being the best whatever it is that I am. I'm stuck with myself forever, and I can't do anybody any good if I'm not mentally there.

 

Becoming and remaining uncorrupted and uncontrolled by forces outside myself, to the greatest extent possible. I spent a lot of time being told how to feel and how to judge value, and being made to feel responsible for the feelings and reactions of other adults.

 

Oxygen.

It's a tie between my family, my boyfriend, and God
God is above all the guiding factor in my life

And my boyfriend is the one person who knows everything about me and still loves me

 

All the people in my life who make me feel genuinely loved, and my own journey to grow to love myself a little more each day and accept myself for who I am.

Being true to myself.

 

Air, food, and water are what's required for basic survival


But other than that, I don't know what else.

 

Myself. My life. my desires, interests, feelings, and general well being. No matter how great anything else in the world might be it doesn't matter if I'm not experiencing it as somebody I'm satisfied with. I think embracing a point of view that might be considered as selfish is the most straightforward way to do that.
