As some of you might have seen in the What are you Thinking thread, my boyfriend was coming home with me for the weekend to meet my family and to spend Easter with us. I am proud to say that it has gone over really well. They know that I care about him and like him, so they are happy for me. In addition, they know that he is trans* and are okay with it. My Dad and my sister-in-law and my grandma to a point kept using the wrong pronouns. However, when describing him, they say boyfriend, so there is that.

My brothers are joking around with him and treating him like one of the guys, and that is amazing. I was a little nervous about my one brother, but the two of them who have met him seem to like him and are treating him like family. My sister-in-law wants him to move in and everything, which is kinda funny considering we have not even been dating for 2 weeks yet. We were pseudo-dating for quite awhile though.

All and all it went over very well and I could not be happier. Now we just have wait for the family reunion in August for him to meet the rest of my family.

Thanks. It very much is a major stress relief. I was so nervous about everything, and it all worked out for the best.

    Thanks Cass and Opheliac.

I am too Brad, and my family seemed to like you so that is a very good thing and even with my one brother being very confused that I was dating someone.
