As an opposite thread to "Words people hate", let's see the words that people just can not stop saying!

For me, I'd have to say "Awesome sauce" and "Cool beans" because I'm a loser like that :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    What about you guys?

Well, it's not a word I say very often, but I do like it, and it inspired this thread, so...

    Indubitably!

    Haha, love this idea!

I say "cool beans" a lot too, but I can't help but smile whenever I say algebraic and shenanigan.

If you want to spice up your vocabulary, you can always try "refrigerated legumes" in place of "cool beans."

I find it a lot harder to think of which words I like than to think of the ones I hate.

Yes!... I like nautical also. Here are some more:

    Cartographer
    Mountainous
    Epiphany
Vitruvian - this last one is technically a name, but I love the way it sounds!

I speak Spanish so I'll tell you what words I find beautiful in English rather than what words I usually use, since they are all in Spanish and you won't know what they mean.

Oblivion: It's very meaningful and sounds important. I like it specially in its meaning of utter extinction.

Slash: I like the almost onomatopoeic character of this word, quite more self-explanatory than Spanish Corte, Cortar.

Doom: The sound of this word kind of suggest its hopeless meaning, it sound like a nightmary drum of a final explosion. Even ignoring that, its shortness gives it a more drastic meaning that Spanish equivalents Condena or PerdiciĆ³n.

Glue: I like this one just because it sounds childish and funny to me ^_^

Ooh, I don't. I could list pages and pages from the dictionary of words I love, but rarely get the opportunity to use. I have this weird attraction to words beginning with, or including the letters V and Z. I also love incredibly long words that challenge the vocal chords. Okay, I sound really weird now! :icon_bigg

And how often do they get used in the same breath?
