I LOVE RAINBOWS!!!!!! And if that makes me lame so what. I liked rainbows and hearts before they were cool. I don't often were them though. I just dye my hair.
I'm not really into colours myself, let alone a whole rainbow, but I couldn't think of anything more representative of the LGBT community.
I think pride and rainbow clothes are sort of lame, yes. I can understand wearing them in Pride parades, when you reeally want to make a statement etc. but yeah. I think they are lame. Actual rainbows aren't though, they are awesome! I once saw a double rainbow for real o__o
Yeah, I think that Pride parades are awesome. I love the feeling of unity and collective activism that is in it, but I am also pretty obsessed with fashion/ style. Though I know everyone has their own personal style, mine is not one that rainbow anything is easily incorporated into. So, I have to go with no rainbow clothes for me. Though I did buy a pair of rainbow underwear a while back ago. LOL
Gosh, I have no idea whether rainbows are lame or not. But I bought my first rainbow scarf when I didn't even know that it is connected with the LGTB-community, so I won't really throw it outride:

I get this vibe a bit too. That's why a bracelet or something subtle is still the best way to wear it imo. But some people just feel an extreme amount of pride and wanna show it more directly which is cool too. Rainbows the natural phenomenon are cool. As our symbol it's appropriate and cool. I'm just kinda sick of hearing about them in the "glitter and rainbows and gay, yay!" kinda sense. But that's probably because I hate anything that's happy and am just a completely miserable person :evil:
