    OK, suppose Aliens from other planets had come to Earth, some humanoid, some more like the Na'vis from Avatar...would you go out with one? Why or why not?

    Me, I'd be open to the idea. They'd most likely be very intelligent, and might be able to open up whole new frontiers, so to speak.

    Though if they left, it would give new meaning to "long distance relationship."

    I vote no because I don't know what the ones your referring to look like. But in general, no. Most of it is because I get the image of the Aliens from Aliens vs Predators on a date. Urghhh

    Who knows, if it all works out well, you could be dating Chewbacca! I know, not much of a conversationalist, but you'll stay nice and warm at night. Maybe you could even go on to start the first intergalactic dating service.

    It's funny you mention the Na'Vi, because I found myself oddly attracted to Jake in his Avatar form.

    Anyway if they looked mostly human I wouldn't have a problem with it (as long as we were sexually compatible).

    I WOULD have a problem if they were monster-like aliens, such as the ones in Alien (the thought of being impregnated by one of those still makes me squirm) or War of the Worlds.

    Well, at this rate, considering Earth doesn't seem to have a load of options, why the hell not? As long as Cthulhu remembers to wash the dishes when it comes his turn (and yes, I realize my buddy Cthy isn't an alien but the lord of darkness) and we get along well, I'm sure I'll learn to see the tentacles in a new light.
