Default All in a days work

You probably all know I'm a child care provider. Well, one of my former daycare kids is visiting me this week. She's almost six. I let her pick what she wanted for lunch. She said she wanted macaroni and cheese. So I made mac and cheese for lunch along with green beans, apples, peanut butter, and milk. I handed her the plate and she said "Becky, this is the BEST day of my life!"

If only mac and cheese could make everyone happy! Just thought I'd share that little story with you all!

Yesturday I didn't feel good and for dinner last night we had mac and cheese. It made me happy!

Ew, I hate Mac and Cheese! Hahah! I had it yesterday, actually, and I'm currently working with kids, so there's a little irony there. I'd not have picked it, but since it was there, it was that or go hungry, I guess. A little pepper goes a long way, though.

Sweet story though! Haha!

Here in Canada we have this thing superior to mac and cheese called "Kraft Dinner"

In all honesty some days I love eating it.

Cute story.

Great story Becky. It's so nice seeing how little kids get so enthused and happy about the smallest things around them. Whereas us adults have so much on our hands to worry about that something small like lunch wouldn't be the highlight of our day!

Anywoo -- I'm glad you made her day with a delicious sounding lunch.

That is a cool story Becky. I bet she told all of her friends that you made her the best lunch ever.

On the subject of mac and cheese. Kraft is actually the only type of mac and cheese I will eat.

My dad used to make this mac and cheese for parties. It was like, spicy and cheesy and it had little bits of ham in it. I still get nightmares thinking about eating it *shudders*

Mac and cheese makes me happy. Come to think of it, I might make some later today

Sorry - but I can never quite work out why people like plastic Kraft 'instant' type foods. It only takes 10mins to cook macaroni and make a proper cheese sauce.

That said - life is so uncomplicated at 5 years old! Great story.
