I have a tooth growing out the side of my gum and it really hurts I'm going to the dentist on Tuesday (woo! no school!) to have it checked out and possibly removed but until then anyone have an idea on how to stop it hurting. and yes I have tried pain killers so don't say that.

Is there any kind of cream you could buy from a chemist or something? In England at least we have Bonjella which deals with cold soars and such inside the mouth. I don't know how useful that would be to you.
