The idea for this thread was kind of inspired by CrisosArcher's "X-men to Homosexuality" thread.

People were discussing how cool they thought it would be to have mutant powers and be gay. So, funny thought. WHAT IF we had mutant powers.

What would your mutant power probably be, based on your personality.

What mutant power would you like to have?

Personally?
My power would probably the ability to morph into the form of other people. I'm an actor, so putting on costumes and pretending to be someone else, is normal for me. ;x

However, I'd much rather have Telekinesis. Moving things around sounds like waaaay too much fun. ;x

I'd have a bunch of mutant powers, but none of them would actually aid the team in any way, shape or form. Like, I'd have the ability to change Snickers bars into Milky Way bars. And the ability to make people either forget people's names, or remember them when they forget. And the ability to kill the living, and give life back to the dead...but only for mollusks and crustaceans.

My X-Man name? Deadweight. I wouldn't go out on missions much. Mainly, I'd stay behind at the mansion, answering the phones, and taking care of the paperwork.

Power? You mean like the corrupting thing that I can't really be trusted with? I'll take a load of that please. Flying, making things explode, fixing parking tickets, that sort of thing.

Then again, the universe is so ironic that it would saddle my DNA with totally useless mutation. Actually, little known fact, I -do- have a mutation that is totally useless in the form of unusual vascular distribution in my left hand. So beware my blood vessels that are configured in an unusual fashion! I still can't think of a snappy name, however...

Intangibility! Basically being able to 'phase' through objects like a ghost. (i.e. Shadowcat)

It would give me ultimate, 100% freedom. I could do whatever I wanted and could never get locked up! Not even handcuffed! (Well, unless I had to sleep, but I could just walk out of jail when I woke up).

I don't think I'd do bad things, per se, but I'd make use of it all the time. Even if I didn't have to. Like, if a door was open, I'd walk through the wall next to it. JUST BECAUSE.

I love animals...and being one would be so cool! Like being a dolphin for a while, and a bird, and an elephant just to stomp all over bad guys

And a giraffe. And maybe a horse

Either that or be able to control the weather. MWAHAHA!

I've always wanted the ability to read minds when I was young.. but then ignorance is bliss...
And I don't think I'd want any "active" powers too.. I might end up misusing them...

So I thought I would probably be pleased with the power of being able to deliberately negate someone else's power.. Similar to the boy in X-men 3.. the difference is that I get to contorl when to use it, and when not to..

And I shall be called "Void".. LOL..

Well.... if we're going on aboot what we're like....

I drink far too much caffiene, so super speed.

I swear a lot, so I'd have to nick Cartman's power from "Bigger, Longer and Uncut" and be able to shoot firebolts from my hands when ever I swear, more powerful the more cursing I string together.

I like wine, so I'd have to nick Jesus' power and be able to turn water into wine.
