Past Lives

I didn't used to, but now I believe in soul bonds. A soulmate is not necessarily a romantic partner, but the connection is really special. Sometimes they are just really amazing friends who really click. I have one such friend and they are amazing. We may not be compatible in *that* way, but we share a bond that is very deep. It can be a bit confusing at times. From what I have read it is possible to have soul bonds with more than one person, or to develop closer bonds with a loved one. If you experience it, treasure it.

 

Honestly I don't know what I believe, however I find reincarnation very interesting in theroy but to me it has wholes...but what doesn't?

 

I never heard of that one...that'd mean one of my friends was killed by being stabbed in the nose or something? :eusa_eh:

Not sure what I believe in though, but I always liked the idea of there being past lives or being reincarnated.

 

Yes, I believe some souls have a round 2 with living human life. Also that some souls might come from elsewhere. It's pretty rare, though.

I'm less inclined to believe someone that lives off the fame or deeds of their supposed past life. Their current life is more important to me.

I do. I believe people could have "reused" souls from animals, of creatures from different dimensions,(YEP. SCIENCE IN RELIGION/BELIEFS!) or from people/humans that lived in the past. Such as relatives or people that you admire their life style. which in that case I think is your past life/soul trying to reach you.

 

^ Ditto. Also, that's quite an interesting concept as I have a birthmark on my abdomen and once had a very vivid dream in which I was impaled... Fascinating...

 

No I don't believe in anything like that also I have no birth mark

 

I hope that I didn't have a past life like my dream; if I did, I have much to atone for.

 

I believe in past lives, and also that I have memories from some of them.

 

Well, I have a birthmark on my leg down below the knee and above the ankle, so I guess I was Achilles in a past life, lol. But yeah, I don't really buy into the theory of reincarnation or predestination that much as a freethinking UU Agnostic.

 

No. There is zero scientific evidence to support the ideas of souls or past lives.

Wow I must never have died since I have no birthmark. However, I was a lizard in my past life. But I was a bad lizard, now I am actually a goldfish; I moved down the chain. I am trying to improve my behavior in this life so maybe I can become a human with a human soul instead of a fish with a human soul.

As a kid I was really into the idea of reincarnation, but now not so much. It's a cool thought though.

 

I don't really know. Interesting thought, but not much more than that.

...My mom tries to use it as a reason for why I'm trans though.
