I've been very depressed lately, and also very confused. I come on EC and temporarily feel better......but it doesn't last long. I'm feeling so conflicted, so I'm taking a break. When EC makes me feel better, it just helps me deny that something is wrong. My parents will probably send me to a shrink, and however much I hate the idea, it would be the best thing. Other than EC, I don't find much joy in life, and even on EC, there are triggers that make me feel worse. I don't know if I'll be able to stay away, but there's a chance it might help, and any help I can get, I'll need to take. So with this post, goodbye for now, but I'll be back to haunt you once again, EC.

Okay, I'm hoping you're reading this:

I went to an old male Christian therapist and I HATED him. Talking to him was sooo awkward.

Then my parents switched. I got a female therapist, she wasn't religious and she was a lot cooler. I loved talking to her. She was so nice and didn't judge me, and I could talk to her about anything.

1. Make sure you get one you like.
2. Make sure you get one that is completely unbiased and won't judge you.
3. It's totally worth it.

I thought I'd hate therapy, but it was amazing. Talking to someone is so nice. I wish I had a therapist now. Once you open up to your therapist, it's sooo fun. It helps put everything in your life into perspective, it gives you someone to talk to that isn't biased.

Good luck, I hope you feel better soon.

I've had to go to therpists in the past.

The one I really opened up to (and I've been to 5 of them), was an elderly female lady. I only quit going to her because she got really sick and couldn't continue to practice.

So, find someone you're comfortable with, like Sean said and don't be afraid to open up if you feel comfortable with them.

Well, I'm feeling better for now. I was feeling all depressed and out of nowhere, I got off of the couch, sat on the floor and bawled my head off. So, it made me feel a bit better. That and I was having EC withdrawls. So, for now, I'm back.
