So I'm slowly coming out of the closet and I was thinking of buying a rainbow bracelet or necklace. I'm just wondering if it might seem too "in your face." Any thoughts?

Not at all. A pride necklace or bracelet is just wearing a cross necklace, you're wearing it to let people know what you do but it's not shoving it down people's throats.

Congrats on the wedding/engagement! Here's to a long, happy filled life for you two together!

    :newcolor:  :newcolor:

Also, to answer OP's question, I have.
    - 2 wide Rainbow bracelets
    - 6 small color bands that say "Equality: Nothing More, Nothing Less" (6 colors are pride colors)
    - 2 rainbow LGBT dog tags
    - a "legalize" lanyard in rainbow color
    - An HRC Purple "End Bullying Bracelet"
    - An HRC Yellow "Equality" bracelet
    - An HRC Charm bracelet
    - An HRC Loom bracelet
    - A "Love Conquers Hate" wristband
    - A "I stand on the right side of history" T-shirt
    - A "legalize love" bracelet
    - A "Super Gay" LGBT bracelet
    - 3 LGBT pins
And I STILL want more LGBT pride stuff. IMO you can never have enough.

I have a purple t-shirt with a rainbow colored heart on it, but I don't have anything truly LGBTQ pride related.

I've always wanted one of these

I've got a rainbow bracelet/band thing from my church, and I wear it every day. Nobody says anything. My folks only mentioned it when I first got it, but that's most likely because they think I'm a baby dyke. My total of rainbow anything is the bracelet and a bear, also from church, and mom says, "why is everything rainbows with you?"

    Personally I'd never wear it,
Because it goes against good taste for me in regards to how it looks,
A bit TOO bright for me,
    Though if you'd like to,
Feel more than welcome to do so

Do you wear it all at the same time? Kinda dripping in pride :icon_bigg

My best friend makes paper bead jewelery and I had her make me a rainbow bracelet. I love it a lot and wear it all the time. I don't believe that they cause too much of a reaction but it is a subtle way of telling people that you are gay without yelling it from the rooftops.
