It can be an indicator possibly, but there is NO foolproof way of knowing if someone is gay unless they tell you. One thing I've looked at recently is that on men, If your hair whorl is counterclockwise, the odds are you are three times more likely to be gay. I have a counterclockwise whorl, so it's at least true for me.
I knew it would be that Davey Wavey video, but I do think sometimes you can get an idea if a guy/girl is admiring a hot guy/girl, but it's not foolproof as mentioned above. Sigh, Davey Wavey again! No I don't think there is much validity to that "test". Even I as a gay guy am only "comparing" or sizing myself up most of the time when I look at other guys. Its sort of a subconscious way of saying "how am I doing compared to him?". Straight guys do exactly the same (yes they do look at other men in locker rooms, it doesn't make them gay its just evolution). The only real indicator would be that gay guys would look at other guys both to compare and also admire (so it might be a more frequent thing) - but unless you are stalking a guy how would you know if he is doing it often?
Well, if you observe them often having sex with the same sex I think it's a good shot they're at least bi :lol:. Honestly, there is no "foolproof" way. Ask and hope they tell the truth is as good as you'll get.
Unless someone expresses their exclusive attraction to those of the same gender, then there is no way to entirely be sure of their homosexuality (and they could easily be bi or pan :rolle And another point, I check out girls and guys I'm not attracted to a lot. It's not a foolproof way at all; they could just be admiring their clothes or sizing them up or just find them interesting.
Definitely not foolproof. It might be a great way to find a gay guy who's a horndog, but there are plenty of people for whom that "foolproof method" would not work.
If you want to know if someone is gay, you'll have to ask. Learn to ask in a manner that isn't so blunt. Asking someone "are you gay?" isn't the best way to go about finding out if someone is gay...
The best way is ....... To just figure it out for yourself. Haha. I don't believe people most of the time. I went to a small high school where everybody knew your business, and conveniently, so many guys weren't gay, yet somehow managed to have boyfriends in the passing years. Weird, right? So it was conditioned in my head to not believe people. That being said, you have to respect what they say. If they say they aren't, you can laugh on the inside and just move right along.
While it is far from foolproof, I do think there may be some truth to the test. I personally, when checking out a guy, take very very quick glances so I'm not obvious. I don't think any single glance I give would necessarily give away that I'm gay. But if someone was watching me and noticed that my eyes were repeatedly glancing at a hot guy...they could probably suspect me.
