    That you were maybe/possible LGBT*?

I probably got the first inkling when I was about 10, but I buried it and tried very hard not to think about it until age 14.:rolle:

When I was about fourteen and developed a rather deep crush on a boy in my class (Shockingly, that crush still stands, even more strongly, to this day) before him I'd never really noticed anyone in a romantic/sexual way let alone someone of my same gender.

I wasn't very happy about it, though, as I wanted to be "straight" like everyone else. Such was my idiocy at the age of fourteen...

Last year (age 23) was the first time I seriously considered it.

Around 13. It was porn. I was solely attracted to the men. I then started checking out gay porn and I was hooked.

As far back as in 1st grade. There was never a time where I looked within myself and thought "I'm 100% straight". I always knew there was something there.

But I didn't really put a label on it until later on.

    First feeling?

About being a man, 2 years old.

About loving women, 8 years old.

I realised both of them at the age of 16.

A feeling towards boys that felt stronger than what seemed 'usual'... 7 or 8.

Then, more sexually, at about 12-13.

I remember I had a crush on a female teacher when I was in primary school. I kept thinking about her. Then around when I was 15/16 years old I had a crush on a girl who was my friend in high school. I've had crushes on men too. Currently, I love a girl. I'm still very attracted to women. Now that I'm 21, I have decided to accept my sexuality.

Oooh, a long time ago - I think I always knew I was 'different', and I had considered the possibility I was gay. It wasn't until around 13 or 14 and puberty that I realized I definitely liked guys, though.

It's a commonplace for me but again...back when I was still in elemantary and we had weekly classes at the local swimming pool and we were bound to see things in the locker room. And I liked what I saw between the legs of the other guys, but I never really thought about it until I was 16.

I had little crush feelings for a girl at 13 but tried to put it behind me but at 15 I got hit with full on euphoria for a friend of mine, I wrote her a love letter actually but alas she was straight as a pole :frowning2:

Looking back, I was about 12 at my first inkling - when I watched two women kissing passionately on TV. The first time I saw porn made me very uncomfortable because I couldn't stop watching the woman and she was the only thing that turned me on (and I didn't want to be gay!) and that was around the same age (maybe 13/14?). I didn't really think it was a real possibility until my first girl crush, and that was around 16 or 17.

But this is all in retrospect. At the time, these were fleeting, yet recurring, thoughts followed by rationalizations that my feelings were normal, even for straight girls. I married a man at 20, came out to myself as wanting to be with a woman about a year later. Came out to him as bi at 22, and came out to myself and to him as comletely gay at 27. I'm 28 now, and still struggle with self acceptance, though it gets better day by day.

Until I joined EC, I'd always thought and said around 12/13, but reading the various threads on here has got me thinking again. As I re-visit some earlier memories of mine, I can see clues to same sex attraction at a much younger age, while I was still at junior school. I wouldn't say they were strong or definitive feelings, but I'd put my age at 8 or 9.

In a way, I'm pleased to finally recognise this as it confirms even more that my sexual orientation has always been hard-wired and not something I chose around the time my hormones kicked in.

I used to have very rude dreams of me and a man when I was 15 then when tried to imagine a naked woman it turned into a naked man this was at 14/15 I forgot about it when I was 27 then I don't know why it hit me I'm bi.

When I look back on it, I could trace it back right back to puberty. However it went largely misunderstood and ignored for a long time. I only really thought about it, understood and accepted it last year.

Only in hind sight do I realise it goes back that far when I consider various experiences, feelings and fantasies I had when I was younger.

    Happy days

I guess... It was way back. Like, maybe I was 6 or 7-ish? I guess I've always known.
I had a crush on one of my best female best friends. She didn't think like that at all, of course. And then I'd been attracted to another close female friend, around 12 or 13 yrs. old, who was also Bi-sexual; that's when I said, 'you know what, I'm Bi.' Though, I ultimately got turned down when I told her  Anyway, I have been attracted to guys, too, but not as much as girls.

I knew that I was different from the time I was a toddler but didn't know anything about being LG (sansBTQ...) until age 8. I didn't have a word for being transgender until I was 18 but knew that I was a guy in female body even as a toddler, though I didn't truly accept it until I was 12.
