There are certain patterns of sound that many people enjoy. Some people enjoy rainfall as they sleep. Some like the sound of bubblewrap popping. Music, too, but this one is a given. I suspect a voice is potentially capable of this as well. Look at Morgan Freeman, there's a reason they use his voice a lot. It appeals to people. I've found women whispering to be very soothing. Talking normally is okay, but softly, that does it for me. So yes, I suppose people can be turned on by a voice.
If people TRY to "sound sexy" then no. That feels like posing and it just comes off as weird. But natural voices can be nice that way One thing though, a screechy high voice is definitely a turn OFF for me.

oh hell yes that voice is so hot it made me blush but I'm not in to male so now I feel weird but girls with Russian and German accents always make me blush so must be the tone of the voice
