My boyfriend wants to go to DC for my 21st birthday. We would stay at his aunts house have not just her but also two cousins to call if we need them, we'd take a train, probably walk around the city. But the issue is every time I ask mom she ignores me and changes the subject. It's annoying. JUST SAY NO if you don't want me to go. Geeze
If you're 20, why do you need your parents' permission? Have you had the conversation yet about being treated as an adult? If not, it's probably time to have it.
