This is just a quick rant...

I spent the last 3 (yes 3) hours washing and detailing my car...

... I just looked outside, and it is raining...

What does the weather channel say? Sunny!

    Damn...
    </end rant>

    haha.

Today at band practice, we're standing outside, learning our moves for halftime.

And guess what? It starts to rain ever so lightly.

While the sun is still shining.

Lots of rain this year in Toronto.

I've only had to water the garden 2 or 3 times.

Please please please send all your rain this way. We finally got some yesterday - our first measureable rain since April.

There was a torrential downpour here in VT, just now. I was in it throughout the whole thing. Now I'm freezing cold. Please, I'll give all the rain to you fellows in Colorado!

Aw, sorry Hydrogen! I know how you feel. My brother spent a couple hours washing and waxing our car, and we're trying to keep it as clean as possible. I drove it around today since it was nice and dry, but now it's raining here. Good thing the car's covered!

    It finally stopped raining.

This is one think I hate about living in an apartment complex, there is no secure, dry place to park the cars. (without paying some ridicules fee)

I swear, I can't go one hour without rain, dirt, bird poop, cats paw prints, etc from getting all over the car.

... I don't know about anyone else but I like my car to be spotless, wheels shined, perfection. (I have OCD when it comes to this)

I feel the same way. It's very dry here in Nevada too. But luckily this is so called "monsoon season" so we're supposed to get decent rain even though there hasn't been much. Lol.

  15. I LOVE Arizona. I love how dry it is. In KC, it's like it's so hot the air is sweating. There, you feel like it's not the air that's hot, but that the sun is actually sending its heat right down to you personally... like the light itself is what's warm. Like you can bathe in it. I love it. Even if it does never rain.

We just had a mad/giant/monster/mammajamma storm here! And the thunder was so intense it knocked two pictures off the wall!

Aww...I like rain. It makes for the best afternoon naps. If I can ever get it to rain in the afternoon on a weekend, I'm a lucky guy.

I actually like being in the rain. I find it incredibly refreshing. Of course I'm not looking to get sick or anything, I just enjoy it for some strange reason.

we actually broke the july rainfall record for the last ten years (this year) with 147mm of rain... nearly 30 more then our record and it's more then double our average.

Love it. Need it. We have full tanks of water for the first time in four years.
