I feel your pain... except there are like no gay clubs *that I know of near* and well I'm not the club type. My school doesn't have a gay center either

 

I think a significant other would come from friendship. Maybe the friends you make here become close to you in the future and that you can connect to them in a romantic way. ^_^

Here is something that you need to know: for the sake of argument, you show up at the school club; they are surprised, of course, and probably quite happy to have someone join their crowd. Eventually it gets out to whoever will listen, people will chatter about it for approximately 48 hours, after which you will be amazed at how fast the next "thing" makes everyone pretty much forget about what you kept as your deepest secret.

What is the benefit? People now know, and maybe, just maybe, some other closeted guy who may have had a secret crush on you will muster the kind of courage you have shown by going to that club and he will approach you! What will you do then? Maybe enjoy the beginning of a life-long friendship....

 

Ok... So I have done something I wouldn't every really do... I signed up for Zoosk... lol I doubt anything will come from it, I don't have the nerve to put a pic up or message someone lol I guess ill just look.

 

Here's the thing about courage. You can have all the qualities in the world, you could be the world's best boyfriend...ever! Except that the price of admission is courage (actually it's the price of making your own life in this world!): it's the one quality that validates all the others.

It goes to the need for vulnerability, you need to understand that nothing can ever happen without you putting yourself in the arena for all to see and taking the risk that will open doors you never knew existed. Many of us here at EC have done it.

I bet you can do it...I dare you!

 

Eh.. It just shows you anyone within a age range and a distance ranger whether they have been online or not... I don't like internet dating though so... maybe not a fair opinion lol
