    It was a birthday present. Before that I had a virus-filled windows xp. At least I don't have windows 8.

    I'm not a fan of it personally. A solid block of purple in the center is hard to look at for me.

    I went from vista to 8
    While I prefere windows 7 windows 8 isn't that bad once you get used to it.
    It has a few kinks that definitely need worked out

    I had Vista for four years. Never had any of the issues people complained about. Switched to 8 earlier this year and while the UI was different, I"m alright with it.

    I can also count the amount of viruses I've gotten on one hand.

    As for the layout, it makes my eyes bleed due to how bright it is.

    We went for the ugliest, tackiest theme we could find for April Fools day. It was around the time we were planning to do a new skin on the existing forum software rather than go to different software, so it was somewhat believable.

    I've been using it as my default theme for months. If I look at the standard one it looks wrong, because I'm so used to the purple now.

    There's another, even more hideous one that was in the running, but it broke some of the forum pages so we couldn't use it for April fools day. I think members have access to it. It's called "eye shock" and I think you can access it ( and the purple one, and one or two others) by going to the very bottom of the page, looking for the drop down select in the corner and choosing 'eye shock'. I defy anyone to normally use EC while using that theme.

    I don't think we can access it. The only one there (besides the typical ones) is the M4.

    Really? I found the purple layout on my own ages ago.

    Oh, wait. The purple one is the M4.

    So, am I the only one who uses M4 Purple as my default theme when browsing EC?
