I was wondering if anyone has been to the event and if they could tell me how it was. I was thinking about going while I'm in Canada but would have to get a ride from my mom in order too, and wanted to know what the atmosphere was like there? Thanks to anyone who replies.
I want to go and will try to make it for a weekend. I'll be living in Ottawa so it's about a 5 hour drive, so I'll probably stay at a hotel for one night, or crash at a friend's place in Toronto. I'll definitely attend Capital Pride in Ottawa this August though!
I'm planning to go there from Montreal (that loong boring drive...), for the weekend events, looking forward to it!
Well where I'm staying is about 40 min. away and would be my first pride event if I can convince my mother to go, it sounds like an awesome event.
Why not take a train? It would be much more fun and less tiring than driving? --- I've been thinking about at least seeing it but I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable on my own.
Yeah we aren't really the most talkative when it comes to these subjects so it will be difficult, but I really would like to go. I love taking the train :icon_bigg
