This is a thread to talk about who your favorite artists are, and what kind of things they do. My favorite artist is Brian Andreas, he's a schizophrenic, and like me, he can't draw realistically. Unlike me, he still uses his drawings in his art. He used very profound poetry in his work too. You can find his art here. So what artists do you like?
Jacek Yerka for me, for sure. His work is just beautiful. It's really really lovely. I actually don't have words to describe it really. Jacek Yerka painter of the fantasy worlds - preview of the paintings
I have sooooooooooo many favourites but I'd narrow that list down to the following: Willem de Kooning, Jackson Pollock, Salvador Dalí and Mark Rothko. Here are some example of their work here: http://uploads8.wikiart.org/images/willem-de-kooning/fire-island.jpg http://uploads0.wikiart.org/images/jackson-pollock/mural.jpg http://www.dali.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/the-great-masturbator.jpg http://www.tate.org.uk/art/images/work/T/T01/T01031_10.jpg As you can see I'm a big fan of non-traditional artists

I'm not huge in visual art. I like it but I couldn't tell u what kindsor by who are my favorite. I am into poetry, literature, and music though I love Edgar Allan Poe. And musical compositions of Eric Whitecre are some of my favorites
These are some really great artists, some I've heard of, but a good amount are new to me. I always love to see art.
Dali is my all time favorite. I like Swans Reflecting Elephants and have a full size print of it framed and hanging in the living room I'm also a big fan of Walton Ford. He paints (life size) animals in the style of Audubon. Most of his paintings are commentary on the environment and the destruction mankind causes. Ford Smith is another favorite. The late HR Giger has been one of my favorite artists since I was a kid.
