On the website, the author wrote a disclaimer that it was all sarcasm. She still received flames about how narrow minded she was. But yeah! It really makes you think, if you've been using clichéd arguments against certain relationships! My favorite is the straight list, number 7.
Exactly. I don't actually agree with everything written, but It's just satire. I just find it funny that straight people (That are bigots, not the good ones) get offended over every little thing that hints at anti-hetero (even when It's obviously a joke) but they say even worse things to gay people.
Speaking of double standards, I remember watching a youtube video about what it would be like if the roles between heterosexuals and homosexuals were reversed. (The main characters were schoolchildren, and the ending was quite tragic). The comments were ridiculous. People kept talking about how the creators of the video were sick and twisted, for depicting such "hateful 'propaganda' against straight folks". Nevermind that the LGBT community goes through that very situation every day.
Ah, I hate it when people take an example meant to make people more tolerant of everyone, and twist it to make it seem like they're the victims. That doesn't ever solve anything!
