I love "game day" food like hamburgers, wings, chips, nachos, etc., but one can only take so much .

Do y'all have any "game day" friendly food ideas that are relatively healthy?

I'd be thrilled if there is some mythological amazing healthy food in this category.

I made these buffalo cauliflower bites a few months ago and they were pretty good. Not sure how healthy they are once you add the flour and sodium from the buffalo sauce, but it might be worth a try.

One thing I want to try is making burger patties and using portobello mushroom caps as the "bread."

Chilli with high lean-to-fat ratio ground meat. Most likely, it'll keep you full for the whole game

Texas Caviar is an amazing dip, if you like chips and dip. It doesn't actually have caviar in it. Its black beans, onion, corn, carrots, peppers, etc. I love it.

It's not exactly "healthy", but it's not "unhealthy" either.

Any kind of fruit would be great, too. My personal favorites are: blueberries, rassberries, blackberries, and apples.

Baked potatoes are good, just go easy on the butter.

"Healthy" game day food? Blasphemy!

Fresh veggies with ranch (I guess in this case "fat free" ranch or whatnot) is the best idea I can muster. Belle's fruit idea is also fantastic ~ "fruit tray;" I may even suggest that one to my family the next time we have the chance to be together for such an event.
