That hasn't been my experience personally... I would never do something like that, I find it kind of gross to be honest (but if it floats your boat I won't judge). I know a lot of lesbians who are similar; but likewise I know more gay men who fit your description. Maybe It's more of a man vs a woman thing... I just know that it depends on the person, since even some straight people will do such a thing.
I don't think it's a man vs woman or a gay vs straight because I'm a gay man and wouldn't even consider a threesome. That's just because I enjoy sex just being intimate between you and a partner is what attracts me to sex. I also know lots of straight guys who would love nothing more than to have a threesome. I guess I think it depends wholly on the person.
I'd only have a threesome if the two other people involved were girls, preferably lesbian/bi. I tend to be protective towards guys, and I don't like sharing them with others. So that's the only scenario that would work for me.

Not for me When I have sex it's with someone I am emotionally connected to and then I am monogamous with them. I wouldn't be okay having sex with someone else or be okay with them doing it
I actually feel bad and perverted because I'm the only lesbian in here right now that would do one with 2 other girls that I was not dating but to me it's just a fantasy I wouldn't really go looking for , but if I was asked and wasn't in a relationship I would be fine with it ,but I prefer only having sex when I'm in relationship and emotionally attached . man I feel really slutty :icon_sad:
Seems like a perfectly reasonable proposition to me. I do think queer people are more likely to engage in threesomes, purely because the gender composition isn't going to be difficult for anyone. I also find that queer people sometimes have a less restricted view of sex than your average heterosexual.
My first time was in a threesome with two dudes. It's a little different though seeing as I was trying to be cis-gendered and because of that it turned out to be rather bad. It didn't scar me for life or anything and I'm still friends with one of them (we were around 13 at the time). Now, knowing I'm trans, I'd not do that again. I'd rather find a lasting, meaningful relationship with one guy that I can connect with emotional and mentally as well as physically.
