    When I got my car I immediately named him because all of my friends have named their cars and in conversation and planning who is driving, it was easier for us to refer to our cars by name...plus we were all new drivers extremely attached to our new vehicles. I named my car after Andy from Toy Story and AndyMark (a company I love), and its gotten to the point where everyone of my friends and my whole family calls my car by its name.

    You might not have that level of attachment, but has anyone else named their car? Just curious.

    Just make sure it has a sparkly paint job and call it Stardust. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Mine earned the nickname "Sparky" from the malfunctioning coil packs under the hood that visibly arc when I turn the key to start it. I just hope it doesn't blow up a gas station someday o.0

    Of course, I have a few nicknames! Most common is "Piece of trash" or "Uncontrollable deathrap". Of couse, its full name is "My parents are going to regret being so cheap when I die in this thing".

    Mine's just called 'the 306' as, well, it's a Peugeot 306. I've only named one of my cars before, it had problems non-stop, so I named it 'the Bitch'.

    "Hope the Bitch decides to work today and do what I got it for." I still kinda miss that car though :lol:

    I named my red s10 oliver, after the Opel that Richard Hammond drove across Botswana in the BBC Top Gear Africa special. I named him that because that little Opel never quit, and my truck has lived up to his name. I love oliver.

    I don't have a vehicle but my mom has always named her cars. Her current car I got to name. I named him Bond, after James Bond because to me, it looks like something JB would drive, if he made a lot less money that is.
