For argument sake - it's a pill that you have to take daily and it has no side effects other than making you exclusively attracted to the opposite sex both romantically and sexually.

Not seen one of these threads in a long time.

But anyway, no I don't think I would take a straight drug.

There could be a day where LGBT people will take a drug to become straight.

But that day is not today.

    This day, we fight!

    FOR FRODOOOOO!!

@Seriously: No. I like myself the way i am. If society doesn't like it, it's not my problem.

Nope. And if there was a drug to make me cis-gendered, I wouldn't take that either.

I'm fine with who I am. Sometimes it can be a bit troubling, but I wouldn't want to change myself. Trying to fix people historically has proven to be a bad thing. Nazi's also wanted to get rid of gay people. A pill is significantly more passive than murdering them, but it's scarily close in principle. If such a pill existed, parents would force their kids to take it.

I agree. Oddly. It would be a heck of a lot easier in many, many ways but... I don't know. I still wouldn't be me.

Now, if I could take a pill and be instantly male in every sense, yes, put me down for the industrial sized bottle

    I'd rather die

Why not a gay drug instead?

Straight as in wanting to fuck women, well no.

I'm straight as in I like to look at nice pairs of T&A with smooth faces, but not wanting to do anything with them.

I would fight against the making of that drug because it shouldn't be something someone wants to fix.

What about cases where one has a strong dysphoria about his/her own sexual orientation? For example, imagine John who's a heterosexual. He's exclusively attracted to women, but he has this strong dysphoria that he should be a homosexual. I don't think these cases are likely, but I'm sure it's possible. Then, there are these cases where one's sexual orientation changed on their own, but wants to go back before the changes occurs and especially when the changes occurred in mid-age or something like that. Again, these are unlikely cases, but can happen.

I can see your point if it were massively produced for public access. If it were on private access, their life and their business on what they do with them.

No, I would not take the drug. I just want to be me. I don't want to force myself to be someone I am not.

No, I like being me. It's why when I found out I was trans at the age of 11, I just shrugged and basically said so what. I don't really regret anything I've done because it's made me who I am. So I most certainly don't regret being trans or lesbian for those reasons.

Even though I struggled in the past (and still do a bit) I like being who I was meant to be:slight_smile:
