I had a really bad day today and I'm pretty pissed off. I had an anxiety attack during school and I was very moody and my friend came up to me said, "Well, somebody has their period." and all I could do was scream at her. My Band Director even came up to me and asked me why I was so upset. All I wanted to know was how do you all let your anger out? Do you scream? Do you cry?

Sometimes I cry when I'm really upset.
But mostly I just listen to music that expresses my mood.
Or count to 3, breathe and forget it for that moment.

I usually just listen to some EDM or rant. I tend to do both almost constantly...

I shout at people, throw things, swear, and sometimes cry depending on how frustrated I am. Not really good ways of venting anger, but it isn't as bad as it used to be.. if I was seriously angry 3 years ago, I would have probably thrown a shoe at someone's head, or through someone's window, or punch them. Well, I might still punch someone if they push the limit - and I'd definitely punch someone if they punched me first.

I go to CBT which helps a bit too - but that's not really a form of stress relief, and more a way of dealing with dysfunctional emotions such as excessive anger.

Listening to loud music while driving aggressively usually works for me.

Not that I am suggesting the driving aggressively part, of course....

Rant, punch stuff, swear (in my head c: ), think of all the reasons why somebody is an awful person, hide away to be alone.

I have to be alone when I'm angry and if people won't leave me alone I tend to shout so it's better for me to walk away.

When I get angry my other personality takes over. She doesn't deal with anger like I would. I just sink to the floor and cry, but she remains calm and pretends nothing is wrong.

I run. Not only does it help with the anger, you get decent exercise as well.

Yeah I run too, or take a shower. I don't get angry very often mostly calm and collected, but when I do get angry OMFGHELLBROKELOOSE-type otherwise when frustrated with someone I don't get angry but I do get really mean, like cold & snide & to the core comments (I try to work on lessening that tho) remember anger can sometimes be a good thing, just get it all out.

Well I generally listen to music, move to another place... I am usually quite calmed and patient though.

I have been very angry just a couple of times.... In that cases I swear, hit things (like doors, pillows etc), shout at people around me and punched someone once.

To be fair the fact I don't show anger doesn't mean I am not actually angry though I usually tend to take revenge on subtle ways. I am not proud of it but I am really calmed make an effort to be kind and nice with everyone so If you manage to piss me off things wont go well.

When there are no serious or long-lasting consequences, I just say how I feel. It's remarkably good as a release, and I can make someone feel bad on top of it (especially if they're the one who made me angry)

I'm usually able to do it without a specific release - just by controlling myself and releasing the emotions. I have punched a few walls though, and I used to have a punch bag. Unfortunately, the damned roof was too thin to put it up.

Screaming and stamping my feet has helped before, make sure it's not in the middle of a shopping centre though..

    Music is my friend though..

I've learnt anger is normally a disguise for other emotions, so maybe ask yourself what is going on for you.
