    Do you remember this thread?
How Old Was Your Mom When She Had You?

Well after compiling the answers of everyone that has posted the age their momma was when they had them (I didn't count age ranges), I was able to find out the most common ages of EC Users' Moms. I thought I would share what I found.

-And for the OP of the thread who was worried that his mom at 32 was odd and older than most, guess what....32 was the most common age out of all the EC Users' moms to have given birth to them or adopted them.

Thanks for the effort. So, the mode was 32; that's interesting.

I wonder if LGBT folks have, on average, older parents. And, if that's true, I wonder if there's any correlation. Some theories, like the order of birth, seem to relate to age.

Huh. Interesting. How much time did it take you to correlate all that?

Our moms seemed pretty close to the average, but the dads that were given (only about 37 though) were definitely much older than national average

There is some convincing data that fraternal birth order (i.e. number of older brothers, which would also indicate older parents) leads to greater chances of male homosexuality, but that's likely just one part of the puzzle.
