A couple of nights ago there was a partial lunar eclipse in italy. My dad and I were trying to figure out how partial eclipses happened. I think it's something to do with the alignment of the sun, earth and moon, so the sun shone on the earth and only reflected off part of the moon, and the dark parts were the earth's shadow??? It was pretty cool to look at.
